Hello. My name is Saad Syed and I am a zealous Architectural Technologist / BIM Professional. I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh before moving to London, England as a young lad. After half a decade, my family and I moved back to our home country for three years prior to arriving in Canada in 2001. I have been exposed to different races, cultures, languages and architecture from five countries in three unique continents. I have a strong interest in building materials, types, forms, history, construction process and sustainable design. This was further justified after my brief time at University of Toronto and completing my Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology at Centennial College in 2012.
My aspiration is to work for an architectural, engineering or construction firm where I can utilise my knowledge, learn new skills, explore new concepts and ideas, network with people of different backgrounds, but most importantly, helping in the design and development of beautiful, sustainable and safe living and working spaces. I am currently a post-graduate student at George Brown College and enrolled in the Building Information Modelling (BIM) Management program.
